ICC Forums Rules & Regulations

International Cigar Club (ICC) is a completely free service provided by Belicoso_Fino (ICC's Owner) for the pleasure and enjoyment of our members. ICC is a non-commercial, public discussion forum dedicated to the passion of fine cigars, spirits, fun, and friendship. We intend to provide an atmosphere in which any member can post thoughts, questions, concerns, and insights on any topic. We invite comments, suggestions, and criticism...anything that will make ICC better is up for open and frank discussion.

ICC is unaffiliated with any commercial enterprise, nor is ICC owned, in whole or in part, by any company, domestic or foreign. ICC sells no products or services, nor does ICC buy products. ICC or it's owners makes no profits, "spiffs", fees, commissions, or accepts any compensation whatsoever for any reason whatsoever.

We have a few rules…they are simple and easy to follow.


PURPOSE

ICC Forums is a cigar discussion board that offers its members a unique opportunity to dabble in a place where there is an international collection of cigar enthusiasts who have a deep passion for this hobby of ours. In addition to cigar talk, we offer forums on Sports, Travel, Politics, and Food and Drink. ICC Forums caters to an eclectic and diverse community.

Membership to ICC Forums is open to anyone who registers on our site. By registering, you agree to the ICC Forums Rules & Regulations (this post/document) in it's entirety.


THE RULES

1) ICC Forums has absolutely NO tolerance for slander, racism, hate speech, and trolling. ICC has no room for thieves, liars, people and who engage in unethical and illegal acts.

2) ICC Forums is a place where frank discussion is allowed. Please use discretion and good judgment when initiating or joining any discussion. For any discussions that may breach “frank”, well, we have a specific forum for that. We call it “Stark Raving Mad (SRM)”. We don’t edit, delete, censor or impede the free and open discussion of any topic there. Use SRM if you’ve got a beef. Don’t use the other forums.

3) This board is managed by a volunteer group of moderators who are fair and easy to get along with. Please give them respect they deserve. If you do have a problem with a mod, take it to Private Messaging, that’s all we ask. If your dispute with a mod isn’t settled in private, PM one of the Admins, (Belicoso_Fino, Devilfish, Clipper, Stickman, or Diselfitter) and state your case. We’ll be happy to help resolve your issue.

4) We have an diverse group of people here, and we run a clean site, so ICC Forums does not allow racy and/or obscene materials in any media to be displayed or posted on this board. There are places for that kind of material, but it ain’t here.

5) We don’t allow anyone to post personal information here. PERIOD.

6) ICC Forums is proud to host a group of honored and respected vendors who are free to post their specials on our “Retailers Specials” forums. This is provided as a completely, totally and unconditionally FREE service. If any ICC member has a business and wishes to promote their product and/or services, please contact any admin, we'll be happy to get you set up.

7) ICC, it's staff, moderators, and/or owners, assumes or accepts absolutely no responsibility for the quality, suitability, safety, or warranty of any product and/or service offered here. The members and/or vendors who offer the products or services are solely responsible for these and any and all issues that may arise from the promotion, sales and/or use of anything posted here.

8) IMPORTANT NOTE -- The purchase and/or use of any and all products or services promoted on ICC by any vendor are subject to the laws of the country, state, province, or other locality in which you reside. It is the sole responsibility of the members of this forum (ICC) to make sure he/she follows all applicable laws. ICC, it's staff, moderators, and/or owners, assumes or accepts absolutely no responsibility for any actions, legal or otherwise, that may arise from the purchase of any product and/or service from any vendor who advertises a product and/or service on ICC. You, the ICC member, by registering on this forum (ICC), agree to indemnify ICC, it's owners, staff, admins, and moderators from any actions, legal or otherwise, without exception, as it applies here.

9) ICC Forums reserves the right to ban, limit and/or restrict access to this site for any reason at the sole discretion of the mods and admins. Any user may appeal the limitation or restriction of their access privileges.

10) ICC Forums does not permit the use of multiple aliases. You use one, you’re toast, no questions asked. You sign ‘em up, we whack ‘em, it's that simple.

11) Any content posted on ICC remains the sole property of the ICC member who posted it. ICC Forums asserts absolutely no claim of ownership to your content, what you post is yours. You may edit, delete, or amend any or all of your content here at your own discretion.

12) Copying and pasting content from ICC to another board without written permission is considered theft and a violation of ICC policy.

13) Any ICC member can request the total deletion of their account and posts. Just PM any ICC Admin for help.

14) These Rules and the relationship between you and ICC Forums shall be governed by the laws of the Great State of Texas without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and ICC Forums agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the City of Frisco, Texas.

15) SPAM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Do not spam your fellow members.

16) SOURCES FOR CUBAN CIGARS - Do not ask for them.

17) Use of ICC Forums implies your agreement to these rules.

18) ICC Forums reserves the right to enact more rules as we see fit to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our members.


PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII)

ICC, it's owners, administrators, and/or moderators, keep absolutely NO Personally Identifiable Information (PII) whatsoever about any ICC member. Any statements made by any person to the contrary are absolutely false and misleading statements.

The only information you are required to provide are your screen name, email address, and birth date (as this is a tobacco-related site you are required to prove you are 18 years of age or older). Your zip code is requested so that the Weather Channel plug-in on the Portal page will display your current local weather information. You are under no obligation to put in your zip code, or you can enter "00000", “Boo Hoo Hoo”, “Hi Mom!”, or whatever you like, we don't care….just keep it clean.

None of the information we collect can be considered PII by any stretch of the imagination, fact, or law. As always, you and only you are in complete control of what information you provide to ICC or not. If you want to have your account deleted, posts, user data, etc, you own them all, we do not, so please PM me with any requests to remove any and/or all of your data.
